L.A.’s only reindeer, plus Santa and animal treats, too!

Can you hear the sleigh bells ringing? Santa and his reindeer are en route to the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens! The Zoo is creating a one-of-a-kind holiday wonderland this year the return of the popular Reindeer Romp – the only opportunity to see real reindeer in Los Angeles – as well as decorations and holiday-themed arts and crafts. Santa Claus will also be at the Zoo every weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas for photos, and, of course, present requests.
But gifts aren’t just for children this holiday season – the Zoo’s animals will also partake in the festivities with engaging activities like unwrapping their very own presents!
WHAT: Holiday Fun at the L.A. Zoo, with Santa and his (real) reindeer, along with engaging animal activities, holiday decorations, and arts and crafts.
The visiting reindeer, named Belle, Jingle, Noel, and Velvet, will be on view every day from Thursday, Nov. 29 through Thursday, January 2.
Santa Claus visits and photos, holiday crafts, and animal enrichment presents will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, Nov. 30 through Dec. 22. The Los Angeles Zoo is closed on Christmas Day.

COST: The Reindeer Romp and other holiday activities are free with Zoo admission or GLAZA membership. Professional portraits with Santa are available for an additional fee.
Zoo Admission is $18 for adults; $13 for children 2-12; $15 for seniors 62 and up. Admission is free for GLAZA members and children under two.
