The Golden Monkey exhibit will bring visitors face to face with these beautiful and rare animals who stand out with their magnificent blue faces and unique vocalizations. Sloping terrain and a naturally occurring stand of pines will provide a comfortable tree-top habitat for the monkeys. A garden pavilion viewing shelter, accessed via a rustic bridge, will place the visitor right into the tree canopy where the monkeys are most active. Revered as a national treasure in their native China, the golden monkeys will be an exciting feature exhibit in the Zoo’s new Asian Forest.
