Early this morning the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) learned that through third-party sources an unauthorized promotional code was circulated online, which when entered into the Zoo's membership page resulted in what appeared to be a free offer of membership.
"We are deeply disappointed that this has occurred, and we are investigating with our vendor how this happened so as not to have it occur in the future. We wish we could offer free membership, but the reality is that membership is a key element of support for the Zoo and enables it to provide a nurturing environment for our animals and a vibrant experience for our entire Los Angeles community," says Connie Morgan, President of GLAZA. "We can certainly understand someone being disappointed that this was not a valid offer, but hope they will join in the life of the Zoo by indeed becoming members and visiting often."
A special offer will be provided to those who entered this invalid transaction.
