Zoo Filled with Fun and Festive Winter Activities
For the first time ever, you can skate your way into the holidays at the Los Angeles Zoo! On
December 11, 2009, a skating rink will be added to the holiday celebrations already in full swing
at the L.A. Zoo! Enjoy a session of skating fun (for a nominal fee) on our eco-friendly "hybrid ce" skating rink.
At just $5 a session, the skating rink is a welcomed addition to the Zoo's annual holiday
celebration, Reindeer Romp, where patrons can visit Santa's reindeer and enjoy other festive
activities through January 3, 2010!
If your kids want to have a wild time during their winter break, send them to L.A. Zoo’s Winter
ZooCamp! Running daily from December 28, 2009 through January 1, 2010, from 9 a.m. to
3 p.m., children ages four through nine can go ape over the Zoo’s exciting animals! ZooCamp is
filled with fun and educational activities like viewing animal feedings. Youngsters can also
participate in crafts, games, activities and tours that explore concepts about and inspire care for
animals and the natural world. Kids can be enrolled for the entire week or for individual days.
For those working parents, they can also enroll their children in extended care hours in the
morning and evening. For more information and prices, please call (323) 644-4211.
