Papa, Mama, Brother, and Sister Bear will be in the Zoo's Eucalyptus Grove, so bring your camera for a photo and give your favorite character a BIG BEAR HUG. See and hear Mike Berenstain, author & illustrator of the Berenstain Bears, bring these fun-loving bears to life! Activities in the Winnick Family Children's Zoo

• Bring your own bear for a check-up at the Bear Care Center.
• Take the certificate on the back of your gate handout, or download a copy by clicking here, to the Bear Care Center at Riordon's Kids Korner so your bear can receive a clean bill of health!
• See the popular Adventure Theater show Bear Snores On at 12pm and 3pm (both days).
  

 

American Black Bears at the L.A. Zoo

Visit the Zoo's favorite bears and watch them receive special treats at 1pm Saturday and Sunday at Exhibit 63.

All activities are free to GLAZA members and with paid Zoo admission.
