Spend an evening sampling beer from local craft and microbreweries while enjoying live music, DJs, pop-up zoo keeper talks, and close-up animal encounters.

Standard admission to this extremely popular event includes 5-ounce beer samples—from your choice of 50 breweries—which you can pair with pub-style grub, available for purchase. Designated driver admission includes unlimited soft drinks.

VIP admission (available online only) lets you skip the lines with early entry to the entire route (starting at 6 p.m.) and gain access to two exclusive lounges featuring hors d’oeuvres and specialty cocktails.

You must be at least 21 years of age to attend this event. Valid ID is required. Standard and VIP ticket holders receive a 5-ounce beer mug for sampling. Designated Driver ticket holders receive a souvenir cup for soft drinks.

We recommend that you purchase your tickets in advance in order to secure your spot and avoid waiting in ticketing lines. Online ticket sales close at 5 p.m. on the day of the event. You may purchase Standard and Designated Driver tickets at the Zoo Membership window as early as 6 p.m. on the day of the event. VIP tickets will not be available at the box office.


Note: During evening events, animals are given access to their night quarters for their comfort. Therefore, most animals will not be on exhibit.

Throughout the evening’s route, food options are available for purchase, including Bavarian glazed cinnamon roasted almonds, kettle corn and old fashioned kettle corn, garlic American fries, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken wings, nachos, grilled dogs and sausages, chicken adobo tacos, and pulled pork BBQ, as well as the Zoo Grill’s regular menu.

Guests with VIP Lounge tickets dine at two locations: Reggie’s Bistro and the Elephant Circle’s Thai Pavilion. Reggie’s Bistro features two stations: Angus burgers and local craft beer brats served with locally baked breads and toppings galore plus kettle chips are one option, and the other is fried, buttermilk-brined chicken with delectable dipping sauces plus corn on the cob, mac and cheese, buttermilk coleslaw and cornbread as side dishes. At the Thai Pavilion, guests can enjoy snack stations from 6 to 10:45 p.m. offering Korean-glazed chicken wings, Reuben sliders with house-cured corned beef, Tex-Mex brisket poutine with white cheddar cheese curds, quesadillas filled with goat cheese, corn relish, and arugula, as well as assorted flavored popcorns, cheese and charcuterie served with fresh fruit and breads, and German pretzel and beer cheese fondue. Also available are specialty cocktails and exclusive access to beer.

Food is not included in the Standard or Designated Driver ticket price. Outside food and beverages, backpacks, coolers, and oversized purses will not be permitted.
