Through a variety of fun, age appropriate, educational hands-on activities, stories, art, games and adventures on Zoo grounds, Critters N’ Kids takes you and your child on an investigative exploration of the Zoo’s animal collection, such as fabulous flamingos or loveable lemurs. Each class is approximately one hour long.

Ages 3 to 4, with an adult (limit one)
Members: $18 per child/adult pair
Nonmembers: $23 per child/adult pair
Class time: 10am
Registration begins one month prior to the class date.
*Your confirmation letter is required for class admission.

Loveable Lemurs

Madagascar is home to more than 40 different species of lemur—from ring-tailed to red- ruffed. Join us as we investigate the Zoo’s lemur population and gather fun facts about this fascinating furry creature.

Fabulous Flamingos

There’s a whole lot of egg-citement going on in this class. Find out why these fabulous birds are pink and why they can often be found standing on one leg. We’ll hear flamingo stories, build watery nests, and go on a Zoo adventure in search of the Zoo’s pink, feathery residents.
