How to Register

A limited number of students will be admitted each day. Special discounted admission fees are available ONLY for school groups from September through June and only with a reservation.

Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. We allow a maximum number of students and chaperones to book a reservation each day. Once that maximum number is reached, the day is closed to additional reservations.

School Admission Rates are available only to schools registered with the California Department of Education. In addition, the field trip must be scheduled as part of a regular academic school program.

Watch for your confirmation materials in the mail. If you do not receive them within three weeks of making your reservation, please call 323/644-4211.

Fee Structure

Scholarship opportunities for admission and transportation, as well as for the ZooMobile are available on a limited basis. To request an application packet, please call 323/644-4211.

Adult Class, College, or University—students & teachers	$5 per person
One adult teacher/chaperone for every 10 students	$0 per adult
Additional adult teachers/chaperones—LAUSD / Federally registered Headstart schools	$3 per adult
Additional adult teachers/chaperones—(All schools except LAUSD )	$5 per adult
Additional teachers/chaperones providing a one-to-one assistance	$0 per adult
