Creature Camp Out

June-August

Have you ever wondered what happens at the Zoo when the last guest leaves? Your adventure begins with a special guided tour of the Zoo’s hundreds of animals leading you to base camp where your tent will be waiting for you. Enjoy a fun-filled night of interactive family adventures complete with a sweet treat and beastly bedtime stories at the end of the evening. In the morning wake up to the roar of the lion and the hoot of the chimps, enjoy a continental breakfast, a guided walk, and a special animal encounter. Take all of these memories home with a souvenir Creature Camp Out t-shirt. This fun-filled family adventure is sure to be a hit.
This event is designed for children ages five and up.

Members:  $65 each, adults and children
Nonmembers: $85 each, adults and children

Zoopendous Nights

Bring your special group or troop to the Zoo for an all-night indoor, interactive experience. Join us as we tour the Zoo after dark, enjoy a pizza/salad feast, participate in hands-on animal activities, and fall asleep to the sound of beastly bedtime stories. Wake up in the morning to the bark of seals and enjoy a continental breakfast while interacting with some of the Zoo’s animal ambassadors. Scout groups will have the opportunity to work on activities relating to accredited scout badges during their Zoopendous Night experience. This event is designed for children ages seven and up.

Cost:  $45 adults, as well as $45 for ages 7-12. (Same price for members and non-members)

Reservations can be made for the entire 2010-2011 school year starting on August 1, 2010.  This will be done on a first come first served basis.  Please contact Coleen Ryan at (323) 644-4221 for assistance.
