Get Connected with the Zoo!
A variety of social networks make it easy to stay in touch - and the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens has gotten into the act so your Zoo experience doesn’t have to end when you pull out of the parking lot.
- Are you on Facebook? So are we! Facebook is a one-stop shop for photos, videos, updates, and animal facts. Join our fans, write on our wall, meet other Zoo supporters, and share your own Zoo photos and videos.
- The Zoo’s YouTube channel features fantastic videos of our animals, plus great informational videos by Zoo Director John Lewis and GLAZA Trustee Betty White. And there’s more to come!
- Our flickr page teems with great animal photos taken by in-house photographers. There is also an L.A. Zoo Group on flickr (www.flickr.com/groups/lazoo) with impressive contributions from visiting photographers, many of whom are members.
- The official Zoo website and Facebook page brim with information, but Twitter allows us to give you immediate updates that you can’t get anywhere else.
Each of these social networks enriches your Zoo experience. From Twitter to YouTube, you can get your wildlife fix wherever you are. Your engagement helps us get our message of wildlife awareness and conservation out, and most importantly, it helps us stay connected with our community.
