Parking is FREE. (On select days throughout the year, the L.A. Zoo offers a Preferred Parking Program for a nominal fee, payable on-site [cash only]. The Preferred Parking Program operates on busy, peak attendance days including most holiday weekends and special events. On these days, limited free parking is available in designated areas.)
The Los Angeles Zoo offers a discount to active and retired military personnel and their immediate family (spouse and children). Please present a valid military ID at the time of ticket purchase and receive $3 off a regular adult admission and $2 off a regular child admission (ages 2-12). This discount can not be combined with any other discount offer.
If you’ll be attending the Zoo with a party of 15 or more people, you can purchase group-rate tickets at the prices listed below. You may purchase tickets at the gate on the day of your visit, download and return this pdf, or call (323) 644-4210.

L.A. Zoo/Aquarium of the Pacific Combo Ticket
Two Great Attractions, One Low Price!
Visit the Los Angeles Zoo and the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach for one great price: Adult: $39 Child: $26 Senior: $38 Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the wonders of nature from the depths of the ocean to the plains of Africa for one great price. Less than an hour’s drive away, the Zoo and the Aquarium can both be visited in one day or on separate days.

Please note that the Zoo starts putting animals in for the night at 4 p.m. Ticket sales cease one hour prior to closing time.
Protect and Respect
Please do not feed the animals. All of the Zoo’s animals need special diets to stay healthy and the wrong food can make them sick. Feeding the animals may result in removal from the Zoo.
On Zoo Grounds and Commercial Photography
The Los Angeles Zoo reserves the right to photograph, videotape, or film our visitors, on Zoo grounds, for self-promotional purposes. The commercial use of photographs, video, and film taken during your visit is strictly prohibited without the written consent of the Los Angeles Zoo. Photo Tips
Indian Rhino Encounter
Come meet Randa, our beloved Indian Rhino, up close and personal! The Indian Rhino Encounter includes a behind the scenes direct contact opportunity for participants that may include touching and feeding an Indian Rhinoceros. The Indian Rhino Encounter is available every Saturday, Sunday, and on holidays at 1 p.m. (separate fee required). Starting November 1, the Indian Rhino Encounter will begin at 12 p.m.
- General visitors may purchase tickets on site at any Admissions Ticket Window.
- Zoo Members may purchase tickets onsite at Admissions Window #11.
- The minimum age requirement is four years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult
- All participants must sign the Waiver and Release of Claims included on the e-ticket.
