GLAZA FALL 2023 ANNUAL FUND CAMPAIGN

Your enthusiasm and support of GLAZA and our partner, the Los Angeles Zoo, is a force for nature. And as we celebrate GLAZA’s 60th anniversary, you continue to inspire us to do all we can as protectors of wildlife and leaders in conservation.

For the past 60 years, your generosity has afforded GLAZA the opportunity to invest in and fundraise for the Zoo’s conservation priorities. Endangered species on five continents are benefiting from conservation grants or field assistance provided by the Zoo and GLAZA. Among the thorniest challenges these species face worldwide are human/wildlife conflicts. Unfortunately, it’s a conflict wildlife inevitably loses, unless creative solutions are found that allow people and wildlife to share scarce resources.

These conflicts can’t be solved with fences and boundaries. It takes community-based solutions that respect local cultures and economies and promote co-existence as key to a shared future. Our approach is to work closely with trusted local partners to share our resources and expertise, helping to ensure the survival of majestic, critically endangered animals.

Your Los Angeles Zoo is committed to finding these solutions, and it is your support that has made this important work possible for the last six decades. Your gift now is an investment in the future of GLAZA, the L.A. Zoo, and wildlife everywhere.
