All tour groups are escorted by an expert representative of the L.A. Zoo, who is there to offer insight, experience, and assistance.

A 13-DAY CLASSIC WILDLIFE SAFARI
OCTOBER 20 TO 31, 2022
Trip extensions before the Botswana safari to Cape Town and after the safari to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe are available for an additional fee. Registration deadline is July 17, 2022.
Hosted by L.A. Zoo CEO and Director Denise M. Verret and Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association President Tom Jacobson, this trip will focus on wildlife conservation through the lenses of local guides, conversation experts, and Zoo leaders. Travelers will experience superb wildlife, fascinating culture, exceptional cuisine, and distinct accommodations in one of the world’s most intriguing destinations.

Virtual Travel Night
On April 28, 2022, the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association’s International Travel Program hosted a special virtual presentation where guests were able to learn exciting details about the upcoming Botswana and Namibia trip, scheduled to depart in late October 2022, and hear from the trip’s leaders, L.A.
