CALMING VIDEOS

Now, more than ever, we need your help.

We are only able to do what we do in saving animals from extinction with the support of our incredibly dedicated communities. Whether or not we have visitors— and the critical revenue they provide— a collection of 1,400 animals rely on us each day. Please stand with us by giving as generously as you can to support animal care and conservation.

Habitats are Homes for Animals

Backyard at the Zoo

The Los Angeles Zoo has created a series of activity packets focused on four different environments that are home to animals in our Zoo and our community: Rainforest, California Condors, Streets to Streams, and Backyard at the Zoo. Each packet in the STEM-based series provides a beautifully illustrated, full-color poster and several activity sheets that challenge kids to think about, observe and engage with nature.
